Donald Trump has not missed this Wednesday to his usual appointment with golf on his first day in Mar-a-Lago (South Florida), where he came to spend the long weekend for Thanksgiving Day.

After a mass bath at the BB&T coliseum in Sunrise, north of Miami, where he held a campaign rally, Trump arrived at his private Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach on Tuesday night.

The president will be in Palm Beach until Sunday with his wife Melania and other members of his family, with whom he will share this Thursday’s traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

As expected, around 10 a.m. local time (15:00 GMT), the president moved to the Trump International Golf Club in nearby West Palm Beach, where he has stayed for about five hours.

For the time being, he has not disclosed who his fellow players were.
The agenda distributed by the White House indicates that the president does not have any act planned for today, although he has not left unattended his Twitter account, in which he published a photomontage in which his face is seen on the body of a sturdy boxer.

The photographic composition, hung after the announcement of the good economic data in the country and that has turned the social networks, shows the face of Trump on a body of a muscular boxer, laureate with a champion belt, with the colors white, red and blue, and that corresponds to the character of Rocky, interpreted by the actor Sylvestre Stallone.

Data released by the Department of Commerce indicate that the national economy advanced at an annual rate of growth of 2.1% in the third quarter of the year.

While the pool of journalists realizes that the morning activity of the president has been basically playing golf, a statement from the White House highlights that while Congress has stopped for the holidays has not been the case of Trump.

The White House indicates that the president has signed a law against animal cruelty, signed on Monday, and has participated in activities such as pardoning turkeys presented at the White House for Thanksgiving.

The White House also distributed two presidential proclamations today, one on the spirit of Thanksgiving and the other on International AIDS Day.

According to the Palm Beach Post, since the president was elected in 2016, he has made 26 visits to his private club, including this weekend.

The president also arrives in Sunny State two months after he moved from New York to his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, his “home” as he said at Tuesday’s rally.

Trump has also come to South Florida in the middle of investigations for a impeachment suit against him for pressuring the Ukrainian government to investigate whether former vice president and Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden had questionable dealings with that country in 2016.

“That’s really a lie,” he said at his rally, where he insisted that the call to Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski “was perfect”.
