Houston (USA), Jan. 14 – The forward LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers returned to be protagonists in the NBA, when extending to their streak of consecutive victories.
The Boston Celtics and the Oklahoma City Thunder, meanwhile, also regain winning consistency and consolidate their positions as division leader and playoff team in the Western Conference, respectively.
James remained unstoppable, with 31 points, including 23 in a second dominant part, leading the Lakers to a 128-99 win over their former Cleveland Cavaliers team.
The victory allowed the Lakers to reach the ninth in a row and tie the current best winning streak in the NBA with the Utah Jazz who had a rest day.
