San Antonio, USA, Apr. 21 – Milwaukee Bucks guard George Hill says his wife’s grandmother Samantha Garcia contracted the coronavirus, but was able to overcome the infection.
“Fortunately, she beat” (the virus) despite being 85 years old, “said the Bucks starting guard.
Hill has been in San Antonio during the NBA hiatus imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Bucks player says he has not recently seen his wife’s grandmother, although he was able to detail what she endured and how COVID-19 affected him.
He said the lady suffered from chills and a “very high” fever, adding that “he did not eat for some time.”
Hill indicated that the woman lost her sense of smell and taste before improving.
The current Bucks player began his career with the San Antonio Spurs, he married Garcia on August 13, 2018 in the city of Alamo, where he met his current wife.
