Drafting sports, Jun 23 .- The American golfer Cameron Champ became the second player on Tuesday after Nick Watney who tests positive for the PGA Tour coronavirus, as confirmed by the organization through its official Twitter account.
The positive was detected in one of the routine tests that the PGA Tour did in Cromwell, Connecticut, where the Travelers will be held starting Thursday.
“I feel good physically and I have been surprised and disappointed at the same time knowing the results of the tests. Now the important thing is to take the necessary measures to protect others, including my loved ones,” Champ said in the aforementioned message published by the PGA Tour.
Now, the organization is expected to publish the complete results of the tests carried out to all the players and the necessary personnel for the Travelers dispute. Champ, like Watney, will have to be in isolation for ten days and give negative in two tests to be able to return to the circuit.
