New York (USA), Jan. 25 – After being out of the 2019 season, Eric Berry intends to play in 2020.
Berry has appeared in just three regular-season games in the last three years due to an achilles break that left him out of action for almost two full seasons.
He was released from the Kansas City Chies just over 12 months ago when the team lost to the New England Patriots in the game for the American Conference.
Afterwards, the three-time All-Pro attracted the interest of other teams, but wanted to recover both mentally and physically after being cut by the only NFL team he had known.
Kansas City selected Berry with the fifth overall pick in the 2010 draft and immediately fulfilled his investment by winning an invitation to the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
After the ACL broke at the opening of the 2011 season, he returned to the Pro Bowl in 2012, a distinction he has earned in his five full seasons. But he has played 10 combined games in four others.
Berry is looking to arouse interest in some team to make his return to the grid.
