At least six people were injured today in a recorded shooting at Saugus High School in the Santa Clarita neighborhood north of Los Angeles, according to police sources cited by local media.

The six wounded, including a very serious one, have been hospitalized or treated inside the school where the shooting took place, according to police sources cited by the Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department did not clarify the number of wounded but said on its Twitter account that it was looking for a suspect, possibly Asian, who wore black clothing.

Students are staying inside the school or are being escorted by police to a safe place, while authorities advised parents to stay away from the place, as there is still an active alert and the suspect has not been arrested.
