San Diego, USA, Aug. 5 – Ranger Joc Pederson hit a pair of home runs and finished with five RBIs for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who beat the San Diego Padres 7-6.

Pederson (3) took the ball off the field in the second episode with an outstanding teammate, responding to pitches by starter Garret Richards.

In the sixth inning, the ball disappeared from the field against Colombian relief Luis Patiño, with two runners on the way.

On the mound the victory was credited by the relay Ross Stripling (3-0) in five episodes and two thirds.

For the Padres, defeat was carried by Richards (0-1) in five innings.
