Washington, Middle ago.- hundred former senior Republican charges that occupied positions of national security published a letter expressing their opposition to the candidacy of Donald Trump by the Conservative Party to consider a “danger”.
In the letter, Republicans say that “Trump is not qualified to be commander in chief” and will be a “dangerous president who will put our national security and well-being at risk.”
However, the text does not give an explicit candidacy of Democrat Hillary Clinton support, but say that “Trump is not the answer” to questions aroused by the former secretary of state.
The signatories criticize the “lack of character, values and experience” as well as basic knowledge to govern magnate, which will weaken the United States worldwide.
“Mr. Trump has repeatedly demonstrated a lack of understanding of the national interest of the United States and its complex diplomatic challenges, its indispensable alliances and democratic values on which US foreign policy is based,” the letter added.
The statement closes with a categorical conclusion: “We are convinced that in the Oval Office, (Trump) will be the most irresponsible president in American history.”
Among the signatories are John Negroponte, Director of National Intelligence with George W. Bush; Robert Zoellick, former World Bank director and deputy secretary of state under Bush ,; or Michael Hyden, director of the CIA also during the tenure of predecessor President Barack Obama.
This letter is a big blow to Trump, that if he wins the November election would theoretically private collaboration of some of the best accredited national security experts of the conservative orbit.
